We are more like trees than we realise……

With energetic 'roots' running deep into mother earth and 'branches' reaching up into father sky….. Our full selves are structured much more like trees than we realise

Wisdom of the trees

Trees forever amaze me….. That something can be so still and yet to very alive and full of vitality shows the wonders of nature. When we commune in nature with trees, we are communing with an old and deep wisdom that comes from their gentle and powerful connection with earth & sky.

Our own human energetic system works very similarly when you go beyond what can be seen with the naked eye, with our energetic roots reaching down from our root chakra into mother earth and our crown charkra reaching up into father sky like branches.

We have a particularly special relationship with trees that runs deeply into our core, we have stood together on this planet for an eternity, we breathe them and they breathe us. When we tune into the widom of trees we are receiving a loving synergistic wisdom from the great zen masters of this planet who sit so still and yet have the fullest vitality for life. The trees gently sit with whatever surrounds them, they flow with the seasons and stages of life without resistance, allowing what will be to be.

So what can we learn from our special connection to trees? Ask yourself, what can they teach me?

  • Am I allowing my roots to run deep into mother earth?

  • Are my energetic branches open to receiving energy, insights and wisdom from father sky?

  • Does this issue in my life really matter in the long run?

  • Am I making time for stillness and being?

Our tree friends are an inspiration, you need only tune into them and listen for their wisdom. Next time you are in nature, take a few minutes to stop and connect with the beautiful, peaceful energetic frequency of the trees. Open yourself to receive their loving gentle wisdom that comes from their stillness, presence and being - you may be surprised by just how much they can teach you.

Much Love,

Phil
